Here, we suggest where to go, where to stay and what to eat in Langkawi. These are just a some tips copied from FB page which we think are useful. We enjoyed reading them, thus sharing it with you.
1) Visit Eagle Square
A must do when you are in Langkawi. Visit and take some photos with this 12 meter manmade eagle statue will tell the world that you are in Langkawi without any caption needed on your photos.
2) Visit Pantai Chenang
This is the most happening area of Langkawi. This is a 2km beach whereby basically you can find anything you want such as spa & massage, restaurants, bars, pubs, kiosks selling watersports(jet ski, banana boat, parasailing etc.), shopping mall, duty free shops etc.
We always advise our guests to stay on this beach because you can go around easily by foot. There are many good hotels around this location. We always suggest our guests to stay in is Pelangi Resort & Spa (5*). For cheaper options, we will suggest Chenang Plaza Beach Hotel (3*), Hotel Adya Chenang(3*) and Nadias Hotel Cenang Langkawi(3*).
The Cliff Restaurant – A good restaurant at Pantai Chenang to watch sunset and enjoy the drinks and good foods.
A must go. Nice foods and nice ambiance.
A yellow colour cafe you will not missed. Great foods.
This is a must do when you are in Langkawi. Free flow of foods, free flow of alcohol and non-alcohol drinks – sea salt jacuzzi, music, sunset.. This will be a good evening for anyone who do this Langkawi Sunset Dinner Cruise. The best cruise in Langkawi is Crystal Yacht Holidays. A cheaper version but nice cruise is Tropical Charter.
4) Visit Langkawi SkyBridge and SkyCab, and get free admission to SkyDome, SkyRex and 3D Art Langkawi
Take a half day tour – will advise to do it in the morning. Book the ticket online here at RM 43 per adult and rent a car to go there and come back. You will need around 4 hours to do this Langkawi SkyBridge Half Day Tour.
5) Visit Sevan Wells Waterfall
If you have more than a half day , you can consider to combine the half day Sky Bridge Sky Cable Tour with this Seven Wells Waterfall and Oriental Village, make it a Langkawi FULL Day Tour.
6) Half Day Mangrove Tour Langkawi
A half day mangrove tour in Langkawi which will start at 3.30pm and end at 8pm is highly recommend as you will cruise through the KILIM GeoForest Park.
What you gonna have during the Mangrove Tour Langkawi is cruise through the mangrove swamp and meet the monkeys, spot the white-belled sea eagles near to “Snake Island”, and cruise through a low limestone natural tunnel named “Crocodile Cave” (Gua Buaya), visit The Bat Cave (Gua Kelawar).
