Lunch - Restaurant Fei Kee

06.00am: Morning Call. Pick up from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur. We will start our Gua Tempurung Day Tour from Kuala Lumpur.

09.00am: Arrive in Gopeng and have breakfast upon arrival in Gopeng.  We will drop you at Kheng Bee Kopisan Coffee Shop for Malaysian local breakfast. Kheng Bee Kopisan Coffee Shop serves American, British, Asian and Malaysian cuisines. At own expenses. Expected to pay USD 1 to USD 5. Depending on what you are ordering from menu.

10.30am: After breakfast, we will start our Gua Tempurung Caving.

Description: Gua Tempurung is one of the longest caves in Malaysia (4.5km long). Due to some of the ceilings resemble coconut shells, so it is named as tempurung (Malay) which means coconut shell. It has 5 chambers and each chambers are different. There are many rare rock formations in Gua Tempurung. The interesting ceilings patterns are form by bats’ ordure.

There are 5 types of Gua Tempurung tour packages:

1. Dry Tour (GF) – This is the shortest tour (40 minutes) and can avoid from getting wet. Hence, no tour guide is needed in this package.
2. Dry Tour (TOW) – No tour guide is needed and can avoid from getting wet as well. It will takes up to 120 minutes to finish because it has a lot of stairs and will go through 5 caverns.
3. Wet Tour (TWR) – This tour is depending on weather and river situation. You will need to crawl, sliding by using bum and walk through underground river. Hence, it is challenging. This tour will take up to  150 minutes to finish and tour guide is needed.
4. Wet Tour (GT) – This is the most challenging tour so no kids is allowed in this tour. You will need to crawl, climb, walk through underground river (water level may up to chest level) and squeeze through small tunnels. This tour will take up to 210 minutes and tour guide is needed.

2.30pm – We will be having lunch at Restaurant Fei Kee.

Description: Restaurant Fei Kee is one of the most famous Chinese restaurant in Gopeng. It serves Chinese cuisine.

04.oopm – After lunch, we will be visiting Kellie’s Castle.

Description: Kellie’s Castle is a tragedy and mystery castle which abandoned by a Scotch.

05.30pm: We will drive back to Kuala Lumpur. Journey will take approximately 3 hours.

08.30pm: Arrive in KL in your hotel. Tour ends.
