If you do not have budget to stay at this Mabul Water Bungalow, you can do the Mabul Kapalai Snorkeling Day Tour from Semporna at RM 180 per person, then pay an entrance fees of RM 30 to visit the Mabul Water Bungalows facilities and “Lovers Bridge” and take some photos.

Itinerary

Day 1: Semporna - Mabul Water Bungalow

Mabul Water Bungalow (twin sharing standalone chalet with attached bathroom and hot shower facilities and the comfort of air- conditioning)

00.00 hrs: Meet and register at Mabul Water Bungalow Jetty Office(near to Tealive Semporna at Seafest Square). Must be at the Jetty 30 minutes before the boat departure.

There are THREE Boat Schedules everyday which is at 10am, 12.30pm and 4.30pm. Normally, we will advise you to take the morning boat which is at 10am, and you will arrive in Mabul Water Bungalows at 11am and you can take lunch and go around the water chalets before check in. Check in time is at 2pm.

NOTES during your stay at Mabul Water Bungalows:

Upon arrival in Mabul Water Bungalows, you will be welcome with welcome drinks, and you will then have your lunch.
Please note breakfast time is 7am to 9am, lunch time is 12pm to 2pm, and dinner time will be at 7.00pm to 9.00pm.

What you can do after check in Mabul Water Bungalows?

Use of transparent kayak, and for photo shooting.
Snorkel at the Mabul Water Bungalow, there are several snorkeling spots around Mabul Water Bungalows, life guard are at duty. Please note rental of snorkeling mask and life jacket is at RM 21/day, fins at RM 21/ day, this will be at own expenses.
Walk on the “Lovers bridge” during any time but best time is during sunset for stunning sunset views and can take numerous nice pics. It is a 30 minutes to 2 hours walking path. You can watch sunset at the end of the bridge – the sunset is at Sipadan Mabul Resort , and the view is stunning. Mabul Water Bungalow and Sipadan Mabul Resort is under same management. They are linked together.
You can watch sunrise at their “Glass Chapel”. The view is stunning.
Mabul Island is home to the Sea Gypsies (Bajau Laut), you can take nice pictures of them kayaking on their own wooden boat, they will be around the island and around the resort. You can buy some seafoods from them and ask the Mabul Water Chalet to cook for you. Cooking charges from RM 38 to RM 68. For seafood such as lobster, crab, shell etc. You can always buy from the Bajau Laut people from the resort platform.

Day 2: Mabul Water Bungalows - Semporna Jetty

00.00 hrs: After breakfast and lunch, check out, boat depart from Mabul is at 7am, 11am and 2 pm. If you choose to leave at 2pm, then you can have lunch first before you leave Mabul Island.

After 45 minutes boat rides, you will arrive in Semporna at around 3pm. Tour ends.
