00.00 hrs: Capital of Sarawak, is a cosmopolitan city and this is reflected in the faces on the street. Its city center is well preserved with ornate Chinese Temples, The Astana, City Tower, and many fine examples of colonial-style architecture, a beautiful waterfront and a number of interesting museums such as Cat Museum. Other places of interest include the famous landmark of the city, the New DUN, The Golden Bridge, The Cat Monument, Market, Main Bazaar, China Town, Old State Mosque and etc.

00.00 hrs: Pick up and proceed to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes followed by a brief hike through dipterocarp forest.
00.00 hrs: Upon arrival at Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, you should manage to catch Orang Utans feeding time. You can see their interesting behavior during feeding time. Besides that, you can spot their delicate nests and watch Orang Utans move around at the treetops skillfully. The guide will narrate to you the behavior, emotion and characteristics of this special
primate called Orang Utan, meaning ‘Man of the Forest’.
00.00 hrs: Proceed to Mengkak Longhouse. The journey will take approximately 4 hours. En route, you will pass by the scenic greenery countryside. You can see vegetable farms, paddy fields, rubber, pepper, oil palm
and cocoa plantations on both side of the road. We will have a brief stopover at small native town called
Serian. Experience the busy daily wet market and witness some of the rare jungle produce brought by the native from the deep jungle.
00.00 hrs: Lunch at ‘Lachau’. It is a small popular ‘cowboy’ town for Indonesian natives from the nearby Kalimantan border town to do barter trade. After lunch, you can buy some small gift from here to give Iban host.
00.00 hrs: Arrive at Batang Ai Hydro Lake. You will need to across a lake before arrive Engkari River, one of the many tributaries flowing into the lake. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes before reaching Mengkak Longhouse which nestled on a hill beside the river. The village has 30 to 40 “bilek” or rooms (each for one family) all under one roof built on stilts. The stilts is about one meter above the ground. Meet with its inhabitants and share a moment of their day. Share a glass of tuak (rice wine) and cultural performance with Iban hosts on the Ruai.
