Hiking Place in Kuching

Serikin may ring a bell to many ears as it is already an established weekend market for locals and tourist. This is a popular tourist attraction in Kuching. And, nearby, there is place named Jagoi has a wonderful hiking trail – to the peak of Jagoi – Mt Jagoi, this trekking trail also named as Jagoi Heritage Trail.

On Tour (M) Sdn Bhd were invited by Malaysian Inbound Tourism Association (MITA) for a FAM Trip to Bung Jagoi, and this blog is about the Bung Jagoi 2 Days 1 nights Tour we have been through.

  • Fam is short for ‘familiarization’ – therefore a fam trip means familiarization trip. Travel agents go on familiarization trips to learn first hand about the locations, airlines, tours, hotels and cruises they sell.
  • Bung means summit in local Sarawakian language.
